Stem Cells

There are 3 kinds of stem cells in the news: adult stem cells , umbilical cord stem cells, and fetal stem cells. Of these, all but the fetal stems have shown promise in curing disease. Why then, is the left so gung-ho about harvesting the unborn?

It's all so simple when you think about it from the standpoint of adding reasons why abortion (the sacrament of the religion called radical feminism) is a good and necessary thing. If we needed fetal stem cells to cure disease, you see, then we could never in good conscience stop the harvesting of this valuable medical resource.

The fly in the ointment is that while the less savage sources of stem cells are showing results, the mounds of dead babies are only yielding a ready source of cancer and an ethical quagmire.

I have diabetes. I would rather lose 20 years of my life than participate in the wholesale slaughter of the unborn. Sorry, but eventually I have to stand before the real God and give an account for what I have done. I hope to be able to stand with Hippocrates and say that I 'did no harm' - even if it turns out that killing our young would help me.

Somewhere in the background I can hear the cries of babies and children through the ages. Forever have the evil deities of this world demanded that we sacrifice the innocent to buy ourselves a better life. We shake our heads at the Mayans and the various pagans who thought that slaughtering their innocent children would bring them health, happiness, and wealth. But they were stupid and ignorant, living in a world shrouded in mystery.

What's our excuse?
