Generosity is when you crank out your checkbook and write a big check to the charity of your choice. It's not generosity when Congress takes your money away and gives it to the charities of it's choice.
Compassion is when you sit up all night with a friend who's hurt or sick. It's not compassion to levee confiscatory taxes on top achievers in order to 'even things out'.
Peace is not the absence of open war.
Love is not the absence of hatred.
Prosperity cannot be taken from the wealthy.
Value cannot be given, only earned.
No amount of force or threats can bring you honor, except from theives.
You can't steal character from the righteous.
You can't cheat time, death, or nature.
Science is the headlong struggle to find truth. When it becomes a headlong struggle to support it's suppositions in the face of all opposition it is no longer science, it has become religion.
Any difference between what you earned and your take-home pay is the measure of how much of a slave you are. If you take home 80% of your gross salary, you are 20% slave. Isn't that slavery - working without compensation?
